Bright House Networks StadiumBright House Networks Stadium Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) The Bright House Networks Stadium is the home of the University of Central Florida Knights. It is located in the Knights Plaza on the campus of Central Florida. The stadium is the first Division 1 football stadium built on campus in the 21st century. The stadium made its grand debut against the Texas Longhorns on September 15, 2007 and came just short of a upset losing 35-32. The stadium features natural grass and seats 45,301. A 10,000 seat expansion is planned in the next 5-10 years. The stadium has gained the nicknames the "Trampoline" and "Bouncehouse" due to fans jumping when the stadium plays the song Kenkraft by Zombie Nation. Starting in the 2009 post season the stadium will host a new bowl game called the Bowl for the Cure. The game will benefit the American Cancer Society.
